A few weeks ago, I went to Barnes & Noble and found this book on the clearance table for $5. It was a coffee table book about cathedrals of the world, and it had beautiful pictures. You should know, I have kind of a fascination with cathedrals (I’m not a religious fanatic of any variety, it’s about the architecture). So I bought it, and thought maybe it would inspire some knitwear.
It did!
This hat is inspired by the motifs in the vaulted arches of the Santa Maria de la Encarnacion cathedral, of which I’m having trouble finding a picture. There’s one in the book that I’ll have to scan later.
