Hello! I just completed St. John’s Wood, and the leaf-lace looks weird on mine; I have big garter ridges through the middles of the leaves. When I looked back over the pattern in the London Underground book, I realized that the written instructions don’t match the charted ones. For example, for rows 6, 8, and 10, the written instructions are K9, p1, but the chart says P9, k1. Also, for row 18, the written instructions are K3, yo, k1, yo, k4, but the chart says K4, yo, k1, yo, k5. I do better (usually) with the written instructions, so I didn’t even look at the chart until I realized something wasn’t correct. Anyway, I just thought I’d let you know. I’m still deciding if I should frog my shawl, or if I should just live with it.
